In October 1941, posted to No 275 Squadron, ASR squadron recently formed at Andreas, No 457 Squadron's base and remained with it until December 1941.

Posted to No 452 (RAAF) Sqn in March 1942, before returning briefly to No 457 Sqn in April 1942 before returning again to No 452 Squadron until November 1943 at the end of his tour.

No more operational postings until the end of the war.

Discharged in October 1945 from Advanced Flying and Refresher Unit as a Flying Officer.
