Fresh graduate. Native of New South Wales. In August 1941, posted to No 41 Squadron for four days only then with No 452 Sqn (RRAF). Returned to No 457 Sqn as B Flight Commander and Flight Lieutenant succeeding J.A.A. Gibson from 24/3/42 until 28/4/42.
Posted overseas, replaced by Ken E. "Skeeter" James. Posted to Malta, and sailed aboard the USS Wasp to the island.
Killed on the day of his arrival shortly before taking command of a Flight of No 185 Sqn.
Two confirmed victories No's 452 and 457 Squadrons, Europe 1941 to 1942.
